Start with the capacity, not the colour

This is the decision that actually changes how the bottle gets used. 500ml is the size most of our corporate orders land on — it fits a standard cup holder and a laptop bag side pocket, and it is enough water for a morning without being heavy. Below that, 300–400ml suits school events and children's programmes. Above it, 600ml and up suits gym and outdoor use, where refilling mid-session is the thing people complain about. Our range runs from 260ml to 800ml.

Stainless steel or aluminium

Most of the range is stainless steel, and most of that is double-walled thermos flask construction — two walls with a sealed gap between them, which is what keeps a drink hot or cold for hours rather than minutes. In a Singapore climate the cold side matters more than the hot: a single-wall bottle will sweat in your bag by mid-morning, a double-wall one will not.

Aluminium is the lighter option. It does not insulate the way a double wall does, but it weighs noticeably less and takes a hard anodised finish that resists scratching, which makes it the sensible choice for sports bottles, running events and anything that gets clipped to a bag.

Print or engrave — they are not interchangeable

Colour printing reproduces artwork as it is: logos with more than one colour, gradients, photographs. It is the right choice when the brand mark has to look exactly right.

Laser engraving removes the finish instead of adding ink, so the mark becomes part of the bottle. It cannot do colour — it reads as the metal underneath, usually a soft silver against a darker body — but it will not scratch off, fade in the sun, or wash away. On a stainless steel bottle that someone will use daily for years, engraving outlasts print.

Printed or engraved, and what people call them

Enquiries come in under half a dozen names for the same thing — printed water bottles, branded bottles, customised drink bottles, corporate bottles. They all land here. What actually differs is the finish: a printed bottle carries full colour and reproduces a logo exactly as supplied; an engraved bottle strips the coating back to the metal underneath, which reads as more understated and will not wear off.

If you are buying for a single event, print. If the bottle is meant to last the recipient a few years, engrave.

Ordering

There is no minimum order on anything in this range. Production is 1–3 working days, and standard Singapore delivery adds 2–4 working days on top. If you are working to a fixed date, email sales@thexstyle.com with the date before you order rather than after.

Bottle FAQs

Will the print survive the dishwasher? Laser engraving is permanent and unaffected. For printed bottles we recommend hand washing to keep the colours sharp.

Which lasts longer, print or engraving? Engraving. It is cut into the surface rather than sitting on top of it, so there is nothing to peel or fade.

Can I order one to check it first? Yes. There is no minimum, so a single sample costs the same per bottle as a full run — worth doing before committing to a large order.
