Start with the job, not the bag
For a mass event handout where cost per piece decides everything, 8oz cotton canvas totes and small drawstring bags do the work. For staff and client gifts that have to look considered, 12oz and 16oz canvas holds its shape when the bag is empty, which is the single thing that separates a retail-looking bag from a giveaway. Canvas weight matters more than the shape
Most of this range is cotton canvas, and the ounce weight is the real decision. 8oz is light and cheap to run in volume. 10oz and 12oz sit upright on their own. 16oz is the heaviest we stock and the one that survives years of daily use. Laminated canvas adds a wipe-clean coated face, and the velvet drawstring pouches run as small as 8x10cm for jewellery and watches.

Print or engrave
Digital printing carries full colour and photographs. Laser engraving works on the natural materials — it burns into jute and wood-based surfaces rather than sitting on top, so on black dyed-through jute the design comes out tan against the dark body. Engraving cannot reproduce brand colours, since it exposes whatever is underneath.
